You, me and everybody is much known to the established fact that the Day of Judgement is not a long period from now. Every passing day takes us closer to the Day Of Judgement- the Hereafter which happens to be our Final destination. But somewhere at the backdrop of some minds may surely be the question of being prepared or Not? Known to the fate of wrongdoers, we still are tracing the track which is ephemeral though sweet and tempting. We carry on with our activities but does a regular PRAYER figure in you daily activities. Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala says in the Quran:
" Verily Prayer restrains oneself from shameful and unjust deeds" (29:45)
Ask yourself ! DO U PRAY? How much punctual you are towards our Salah? Honestly , we have no time for Namaz. We offer prayers when we are in trouble but we are having a lineant approach towards our Religion. Our negligence makes us to resort to immoral deeds. We are blind to what we are doing and get deeply engrossed in the fantasies of this world and invite our own destruction to destroy us. Our preparation for Doom's Day is not acceptable. We have to repent and seek forgiveness for this negligence towards Salah! ALLAH Subhana Wa Ta'ala mentions in the Holy Quran:
" As to those who have Faith and do good deeds surely theirs shall be a never ending reward" (41:8)
We know we recited the Shahadah but could not control ourselves. We are weak in Faith. Satan is holding our reins and much easily is making us to dance to the Satanic Tunes . Again our destination seems to be the Hell. We are letting ourselves free to embrace a never ending Punishment! Alas! Again we feel much ignorant towards the Doom's Day ! We Are Not Prepared.
Again in Surah Al-Imran, verse 156, ALLAH Subhana Wa Ta'ala says:
"O you who believe ! Be not like those who disbelieve (hypocrites) and who say to their brethren when they travel through the earth or go out to fight : If they had stayed with us , they would not have died or been killed" so that Allah may make it a cause of regret in their hearts . It is Allah that gives life and causes death. And Allah is All- Seer of what you do" we are disobedient towards Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala. Even after being Muslims, we see ourselves in the tally of Hypocrites! Our deeds speak of our hypocrisy. We are heading towards a destination which will be horrifying. We do not want to go to Hell whose fuel is stones and men ! We do not want to face the wrath of Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala but are we ready to avoid clubs and parties, music and masti, fashions and westernization? No we are not! We want Jannah but do not strive for that. We are passionate towards music than Quran, towards fashion than Sunnah! And we are not prepared for our destination. Miles to go ! Much to repent over and seek forgiveness for. Time is approaching and we are in deep slumber. In Surah Al-Imran, verse 149, Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala says "O you who believe! IF you obey those who disbelieve, they will send you back on your heels , and you will turn back (from faith) as losers" .Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, none among us wants to be a loser. Do try to give a stiff resistance to Satan and his deeds ! On our destruction, Satan is rejoicing and we are blind to this reality. We want to live in all voluptuousness. We are tempted by the world. We are punished of our deeds but we do not understand! To the natural calamities we assign scientific logic. We are not ready to accept them a punishment and even after being eye witnesses to the devasting earthquakes, storms, famines and droughts we do take them lightly and instead of repentance , we do not hesitate to join hands with our destruction again. Allah's Prophet Sallallah u Alihie wasalam said , " the Hour (last day)will not be established until (religious)knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious learned men), earthquakes will be very frequent , time will pass quickly, afflictions will appear, murders will increase and money will overflow amongest you.- Sahi e Bukharie # 979" ! This all is happening and we are NOT prepared! The more we do self-introspection the more will we see ourselves running in a mode of negligence. May Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala favour us With His Mercy and forgive ous sins. A'ameen! By : Shah Nadiya!
