The soul’s emphasis is always right. Nothing can cure the soul but the senses, just as nothing can cure the senses but the soul. Imagination is the eye of the soul. The soul never thinks without a picture. Move to the rhythm of your soul and you’ll never miss a beat. A little body often harbors a great soul. Confession is good for the conscience, but it usually bypasses the soul. Laughter is the spark of the soul. I sought my soul, but my soul I could not see. I sought my God, but my God eluded me. I sought my brother and I found all three. A soul as white as Heaven. To live happily is an inward power of the soul. The one thing in the world, of value, is the active soul. Nothing can so pierce the soul as the uttermost sigh of the body. There is nothing deep down inside us except what we have put there ourselves. From the looks not the lips the soul speaks. Every soul is a melody which needs renewing. The human body is the best picture of the human soul. The soul gives unity to what it looks at with love. The wealth of a soul is measured by how much it can feel; its poverty by how little. A sensible man will remember that the eyes may be confused in two ways – by a change from light to darkness or from darkness to light; and he will recognize that the same thing happens to the soul. What sculpture is to a block of marble, education is to the soul. Great souls endure in silence. All things are known to the soul. The human voice is the organ of the soul. Man is so made that when anything fires his soul, impossibilities vanish. Whatever our souls are made of yours and mine are the same. Our souls possess the unknown power of extending as well as contracting space. You don’t have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body. A dog has the soul of a philosopher. Begin to see yourself as a soul with a body rather than a body with a soul. The soul is not where it lives, but where it loves. The windows of my soul I throw , Wide open to the sun. The soul is characterized by these capacities: self-nutrition, sensation, thinking and movement. The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears. What the inner voice says will not disappoint the hoping soul.
